Dressing Room Try-On + The Hunt For The Right Pair of Jeans
I’m sharing my try-ons from the Loft and the Gap. Like every other store, they’re having a sale this holiday weekend. I haven’t been to the Gap in a while; their store didn’t seem to have a lot of merchandise while I was there but I did find some winners.
Reference: I’m 5’4″ and about 105 lbs.
Let’s start at the Loft.
This striped blouse drapes nicely and it’s a pretty color for fall. It has roll tab sleeves with a shirttail hem. I think it looks great tucked or untucked.
This blouse looks much nicer in person. It’s more of a soft blush hue but my camera couldn’t seem to capture it. It has long sleeves with a cute bar back.

The following are from the Gap.
This tank has a Swiss dot weave and shirring which makes it very comfortable. It would definitely hide a food baby, ha!
Smocked Tank, size S
I liked the colors in this plaid shirt, very fall! It’s a cotton fabric with “pintuck detailing at the yoke,” as the website explains it. I didn’t know quite how to explain it. 🙂 I like shirts that are loose and comfortable.

This open-front sweater vest would be a great transitional piece. It’s a soft textured knit with a shawl collar. Very soft! It is quite long but I think it looks fine. What do you think?

The next items are from the Loft that I ordered online. I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans. To be honest, I only liked the boyfriend jeans (last photo) but they were stiff. Still trying to decide whether to keep those or not.
Modern Step Hem Skinny Jeans, size 25
Straight Crop Jeans, size 24, runs HUGE!

Boyfriend Jeans, size 24, runs a little big but still comfortable despite it being a little stiff. I forgot to check out the spandex ratio.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!
