Instant Pot | Super Easy Pulled Pork Recipe

I jumped onto the Instant Pot frenzy last year and bought one on Amazon while it was marked down (I have this one). I use mine at least once a week and this Super Easy Pulled Pork recipe is one of the easiest to make!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb pork shoulder
  • salt (to season)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bottle barbeque sauce (more or less to taste)
  • hamburger buns (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place pork in the Instant Pot.
  2. Season with salt. You don’t need much since the bbq sauce will provide the flavor.
  3. Add 1 cup of water to the pork.
  4. Lock the lid, move valve to “sealing,” select “Manual,” and adjust time to 90 minutes.
  5. When it beeps, use a natural release (NR) to allow the pressure to come down on its own.
  6. After the pin has dropped (pressure has fully released), drain half the liquid from the pork and shred with a fork.
