K-beauty doesn’t have to be all time-consuming. I’ve seen the 10 steps to K-beauty on the Internet, which to be honest, I think is a bit excessive. Take a look at the chart I created, it’s a nice visual of the steps you SHOULD be doing but if you don’t have the time, just select the steps that work for you.
For me, I like to make sure I cleanse my skin thoroughly so I might do a double cleanse, first with an oil cleanser (step 1) and another cleanser (step 2) to rinse off the rest of the impurities that might not have been caught during the first pass.
A few times a week, I’ll also exfoliate (step 3) or apply some sort of mask. I love this step because my skin is so soft right after! After I rinse my skin of the mask, I’ll apply a serum (step 6) and moisturizer (step 9). During the day, I never leave the house without topping it off with SFP (step 10).
Now for the fun part. I’ve gathered some highly rated K-beauty products. I have the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask and the Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask and I can’t tell you how much I love these! The Sugar Mask has sugar granules so it actually does a nice job of scrubbing the face, making it baby soft after! The Volcanic Clay is grey colored and clay-like, I know not the best description, ha. I like alternating these during the week. They’re completely different in their consistency but both produce equally soft skin!
How many steps are in your beauty routine? Have you tried any of these K-beauty products?
