Hello and happy Tuesday! I’m finally recapping our spring break even though it was a few weeks ago. Better late than never! We have relatives in Georgia so we drove down for the 10+ hours. The road trip is so much easier now that the kids are older. I still remember changing diaper blow-outs in rest rooms along the way years ago! Anyway, back to present day. We basically spent the first day on the road. We always arrive in GA around dinner time so we had dinner at a Mexican place before arriving at my father-in-law’s house.
There were uncles, aunts, a grandniece, and a dog among others. My daughter loves Shredder (the dog haha)!
One day, we drove to the University of Georgia and checked out the football stadium. We also stopped by their bookstore since it had UGA clothing. We like to load up on bulldog attire whenever we’re down here. #godawgs!
I’m not sure which night this was but we stopped at a Dairy Queen for dessert. Gotta turn that cup upside down!
Our last day was rainy and damp but we drove around Senoia to visit some of the Walking Dead sites.
We found a Walking Dead souvenir shop and a museum.
We saw a Walker just strolling the streets in the rain lol.
Down the street from the souvenir shop was Nic & Norman’s, a restaurant owned by Greg Nicotero & Norman Reedus. Of course, we had to have lunch there. Simple hamburgers but so good! Can you spot the Walker?
Well, spring break 2019 is in the books! We enjoyed the week off from school and work but it’s back to the grind now. Hope you have a great day! xo
