Week in Pictures

Did everyone survive Halloween? Other than it being on a weeknight, the kids were so excited to don their costumes and go trick-or-treating. It was a rough morning getting them up for school today! But they were happy lol.

1 & 2 // Our porch decorated for Halloween. The kids carved the jack-o-lanterns themselves. Funny story, I asked my husband to pick up some hay bales a few weeks ago, like maybe 3 or so. I had seen some at Michael’s and Joann’s and they were small. I was thinking that size when I told him to pick up “3 or so”. Well, my husband brought home 3 FULL SIZED hay bales. OMG! Our porch…and the back of my car, is full of straw!

3 // We went out for Mexican one night. Loved their fresh salsa and chips!

4 // My latest project is sewing Christmas pillow covers. Of course, my little helper had to get in on the action. 😉

1 // A pretty leaf I picked up on my way in to work.

2 // My daughter pretending to read upside down. 🙂

3 // My holiday Neiman Marcus catalog is here! It’s usually out of my budget but it sure is fun to look through…and dream, ha!

4 // Have you had bubble tea before? It’s a drink made with little tapioca balls (that’s the black stuff you see at the bottom). This one is the taro bubble tea. So good!

Even though I don’t have exact links to these tops, I thought I’d share some similar options. The suede jacket was a sale find at Zara’s last year. It has such a pretty drape! This is similar. The sweater on the right will keep you warm! I found it at TJ Maxx. I found a similar one here.

Have a great Wednesday! 💕

  1. Halloween is such a big deal for kids.. my eldest’s goal was to do every house in the neighborhood.. the younger one tired half way through. Together they accumulated over three buckets worth of candy!!
