The kids had spring break last week so we took a long car ride (at least 10 hours!) to visit my father-in-law in Georgia. My FIL has the sweetest and most obedient dog, named Shredder. My daughter absolutely loves him! I think she took him out for a walk every 30 minutes. The weather was nice; one day it was in the 70s!
We visited the Little Debbie’s store. It was technically located in Tennessee but my FIL lives near the TN/GA border so it wasn’t far. These aren’t the healthiest snack choices but we couldn’t help but stock up since they were so much cheaper than at a grocery store.
This was dinner out on our first night there. My daughter is showing me her taco and exclaiming how good it was!
We celebrated Easter back at home. The kids had Easter baskets full of little goodies and then we colored eggs. They’re too old for hunting Easter eggs so that’s one activity we stopped doing recently. They’re at the age (9 and 11) where we have to be strategic about hiding them and they find them so quickly. For you mamas out there with older kids, when did you stop doing the egg hunt?
I picked these up at Costco recently. This pancake mix is so easy to make and it tastes so good! It’s a definite favorite!
And, this dessert! It tastes so decadent, plus they come in little glass cups so you can reuse them. It’s my first time trying it but I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I love anything chocolate so it was an easy decision to buy it!
We’re getting busy with baseball and soccer this season. This was my son’s baseball draft a few months ago.
My daughter also wanted to try flag football so we’ll see how that goes. She has her first practice tomorrow. Have a great weekend! xo
